In the heart of Hackney's London Fields, a Victorian house underwent a full refurbishment. The family's vision was to expand their living space adjacent to the kitchen and establish an unbroken bond with the garden throughout the day on the ground level. To bring this idea to life, the design concept introduced a new rear extension, flooded with natural light, creating an inviting living space beside the kitchen. Additionally, an inline patio was added, forging a robust and seamless connection between the interior and the rear garden beyond.
